Replaced admin. staff worse than they had before
Severe staff shortage

I can tell you this place is not as it appears. I was fooled, it cost my family member many unpleasant experiences and much physical and mental anguish. The staff is subpar in dealing with the elderly and will be held accountable. They use intimidation, humiliation and other behavior that would break anyone, much less an elderly widow with no in state family. If you can't keep an eye on your family member frequently then find somewhere else because this place is NOT conducive to healthy and happy living!!

Activities are few. Food is terrible. Staff shortage for caregivers and dining room. Terrible management.
If this place was a nursing home, the state would have shut it down long ago.

After 3 months, I will be moving my aunt out of this place. Understaffed and management talks to you with a prewritten script. What a joke!!!

Don't let this bogus vide clip fool you. Find a place where the administration are very well qualified, caring, and considerate for your love ones. You want to trust a facility that actually cares about your love ones. Not pretending to care just to get them inside and forget about them. That is exactly what's going to happen. Remember this- Insufficient staff and meals so that administration can get their end of the year bonus or whatever they are getting. No activities really. Residents just sit all day doing nothing. The whole administration is a complete joke. Under qualified, uncaring, inexperience, unprofessional, heartless, inconsiderate. I would NOT put my relative here.

We moved my grandmother into Morningside last month and it has been a blessing. The staff are friendly and compassionate. The food is good and grandmother loves the activites. Honestly we have only been there for 32 days but it has been great. Also the transition could not have been better. Grandmother lived in the same house for 62 years so we were fearful for that change. But she has transistioned wonderfully and we are grateful for morningside.

My daughter moved me less than a year ago. I complained to her about the shortage of help and she found that I was telling the truth. This used to be a good place but it's terrible noe. Glad to be moved to a place that cares.

Response: You have a smart daughter and Im glad that she made the right decision to move you out of that horrible facility

Think twice! Large employee turnover tell you something. This place has really gone down in the last year or so. New management has cut programs for residents and cut staff to minimum.

PRESENT ADM IS FOCUSED ON COST SAVINGS. THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH RESIDENTS. UNTILL THEY REPLACE CURRENT ADM, THIS FACILITY WILL BE DESTROYED. EVERYTHING IS GOING DOWN.

My niece has been a resident for three months now and loves it. The staff is so congenial and attentive to the residents needs. When you walk in the lobby is inviting and warm and you see many residents conversing and busy with activities. I feel very confident that my niece is being well cared for but most importantly she is so happy here in this environment. There are weekly excursions to choice restaurants, shopping, libraries and other places of interests in and around the Nashville area.I couldn't ask for a better place for my niece to live or any one else.
