This Nursing Home should be closed down. Or maybe the staff need to be trained. They are rude, inexperienced (it's evident), unknowledgeable about their jobs, and seems to not care about the patients. They are abusive and I have a mind to turn them in to the authorities. My mother had alzheimers (severe). The Nurse, I'm sorry CNA (the real the nurse never made herself known), forced my mother to take medicine and then to swallow them, although she was not able to do so because of the severity of her disease. How cruel and horrible is that. Please folks, do not send your beloved to this place. They allow male staff,(whatever position) to change the elderly women (who cannot defend themselves) underwear. How unethical is that. God Help. Who can I send a report to? Who can help me?

Response: In regards to your reply. You must be white. Stop thinking that all black men want to look between white women's legs. Before you speak and publish your thoughts, your mother is an old white woman, with no sexual appeal. The black men you are accusing have girlfriends and wives that are beautiful physically attractive and bodily built all the way with a nice figure. Why would they want an old dried up prune with a stinky @#$%. I am an African American licensed nurse and I am sick and tired of black personnel being falsely accused. I will not apologize for my comments.

If you are black, you are full of @#$%.
Why don't you take your mother home with you. Stop complaining. This is the year 2014, there are Male CNA's, not just women.

I can honestly say this place is a joke.... it is not so much the nurses (i was one)... its the administration staff!!!! We never had supplies the don is racist and constantly says "I am your boss"... she can't even calibrate a blood sugar machine. The floor nurses are good but its hard to be a good nurse when you have no supplies and orders have been transcribed wrong from the front office!!!! Of course we got the blame for it because the don, adon, and officc buses NEVER take responsibility for things that happen! Do not put your family here... I am not just a disgruntled employee... trust me.. in order to have a well run facility it has to start at the top that place needs some front office adjustments!!!

Response: Amen! Here it is almost 6 months after this was posted and nothing has changed. Its impossible to give the residents and family the time and care they deserve when your responsible for 20 plus residents at one time. Not to mention ALWAYS being short staffed and NEVER having the supplies needed to properly do the tasks assigned. Also the administration doesn't appreciate hard working people. They use and abuse loyal, honest, hard workers to toss them aside when they try to point out areas that need improvement. This place is a joke and I would not place my most hated enemy in their care.
