The previous page does not describe this facility. It is not a skilled nursing facility nor do the caretakers have any quality training.

  • Care

Response: Yes, it does. The caretakers/friends are trained to work with these patients. You are not going to find every caretaker with advanced skill sets or educaiton in this area. They are exceptional and love the people!

Response: The caretakers are valiant, but the house rules need to be reviewed.I would never subject a loved one to a place with a philosophy such as the Arbor House operates by. The dedicated staff is not allowed to protect the most vulnerable from the the most disruptive (who are rewarded for the the damage they do).The violent residents are hugged and told "I love you". Their victims are never comforted. Spend some time observing before you agree to put a loved one in their hands.
