08/20/2013 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: Looks can be deceiving! The place looks very nice from the lobby and halls, but after that it goes down hill fast. The personal care for my father has be minimal to none. The weekend staff was only an LVN whom we barley saw. The food has ranged from ok to horrible and most times is served on disposable plates. Also told to keep very close tabs on the invoicing.

08/06/2012 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: Wonderful place but staff has too much paperwork to do at night

06/19/2012 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: This place killed my mother. She was there a week and contracted MSRA and 2 other infections that killed her. They never changed her bandages over her surgery site or bed sores. STAY FAR AWAY!

Response: Agreed! I found half the aides watching tv most nights instead of responding to screaming residents.

04/01/2012 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: What is wrong with the people hiring the help??? They need to hire people who can speak ENGLISH ! My hearing is great and I still had to ask the personnel to repeat their words at LEAST 5 times. How the heck is an elderly person who is hard of hearing supposed to understand the employees?? Furthermore, the weekend help sits in the dining room and gossips and reads magazines. There is nobody at the nurse's station. This is FREAKY SCARY ! Do NOT put your loved ones in this incompetent crazy place.

Response: ^ this is so true!!!! 90% of the people their needs to be in a ENGLISH class...asap!! it's just not right..& then the residents have to suffer...(so sad)

01/16/2012 An Current/Past Resident Writes: THE OUTSIDE..IS JUST FOR SHOW!!!!

11/23/2011 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: My loved one was recently a resident but thankfully has now transferred to another facility. The nurse aids definately have "attitude". These elders are at their mercy. They sit in soiled diapers until they can be helped which is sometimes hours and then are helped by someone with a surly attitude.I heard this used to be a good place but not anymore. My loved one admitted to being afraid of potential retaliation.

09/10/2011 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: All that glitters is not gold. Communication with family is very poor. Communication between departments is very poor. If you ask a staff a question you are referred to someone else. What are charts for? My parent was kept on oxygen for three months and I could not get an answer why, one told me she liked it. Anyway she was released and taken off oxygen at that time and I was left to take her down to the car and get her in, no assistance, no mention of what to do with the chair, oxygen, etc.
Their insurance person is incompetent with dealing with any insurance that is not Medicare. I can't comment on this persons ability with Medicare. I can say that she is rude and not helpful.
The discharge papers were dated almost a month earlier and were not updated for her release.
To get anything done I had to speak to the executive director who did get things done, but one should not have to make a call for things that other facilities I have used routinely handle efficiently and are part of standard care.
It is clean and the staff seems nice to the patients. They seem overworked and I think they have cut staff to the bone.
Also, read in contract carefully as there were a few clauses regarding their liability that are questionable and I marked that I did not agree with.
I would not recommend this facility for skilled nursing.

07/16/2011 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: If it were possible to rate this facility - the Conceirge in Hous- lower, then we would.

06/04/2011 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: The staff, specially the aids are very rude and no courteous. The nursing care is poor only go and check on patients if they are called or when they do the medicine rounds.

05/23/2011 An OurParents User Writes: The staff is disorganized and not knowledgable. The administration is rude and demanding, the nurses and med aides are below average, and I'm scared for anyone living at this facility.

05/18/2011 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: not consistent
