They provide a higher level of service for the elderly which can include preparing meals, housekeeping, medication assistance, laundry, and also do regular check-in's on the residents. Basically, they are designed to bridge the gap between independent living and nursing home facilities. When thinking about how to pay for care, assisted living facilities are generally less expensive than nursing homes, if assisted living is a viable option for your loved one.

All staff are cleared of criminal history prior to hire and each staff must submit to pre-employment and random drug screenings. Staffing ration is at least double the state requirements. Home is comfortable and staff loves the residents. We treat each and every resident as if they are our own parents and truly love what we do. We scrapbook, play Yatzee and Bingo, garden in the spring, have movie time at the facility, go on holiday tours and seasonal outings, and everyday try to stimulate the brain of each resident. We are close to the medical district and can arrange for transportation to and from MD visits or medical care. We even partner with a group of physicians who make home visits and a great home health and hospice agency that can provide any care needed. We believe in allowing the residents to age in place and transition thru the end of their lives in this facility with family at their side.
