The national average for a private one bedroom apartment in an assisted living community is a little over $3,000 ($36,000 annually). These prices parallel the cost of living in a certain area. This price will also change depending on the room size, for example a shared apartment will be less expensive and a two bedroom or larger apartment will be more expensive than that average, However, with Clearfield Beehive home there is not the same guide lines. The practices this place does is takes information the minute you walk in the door for a tour, They will ask if you own your own homes and what your annual income is. Okay that seems like maybe to see if you can afford this cost. NOOO, what they are doing is grooming you to see how high they can set rent by your assets. Furthermore this place is ran by nothing but trashy girls that are mpore concerned about what party to attend and to hear their language is so foul that when we walked into visit my mother which was paying so much more than the junkies that they get from Weber human services ( That is the 80's pot head and druggies that went from that to prescription drug use and placed at a elite place and only being charge half or a third of what my mother has been charged. So I guess my mother pays so high to make up for their rent, this is actually fact told to me buy there female manager Ashley, I guess she was having a bad day and let it all out not knowing I would post this right from the horses mouth! My mother says this kind of management is typical of this place, and she hears the F*word from these so called professionals that we pay dearly at least a dozen times a day. Now for the other comment I want to thank you for that because I did research after I put my mother in this trashy run down place and found out later as everything else that exposed itself, that there was a sex offender in this place that the manager at the time tried to get him placed in one of his other homes after that happened. Also he visited this criminal client on a weekly basis trying to get him back into an empty slot. Oh yeah, he is from Weber Human Services paying only minimum and according to a neighbors friend that works there the same manager (Ashley) stated, that the manager would bring in carton of cigarettes for these Weber Human Services client to keep them happy and as a bride to stay. So there must be a lot of government funds they dip into and then what is left over people like my mother make up the cost. Really? that makes me mad because my mother pays outrageous amount and is elderly and deserves to be at that services to elderly, she has worked hard for her income and never asked for a hand out. So before you get duped by this place as our family did asked the age of the residents and don't reveal your assets or income to a complete stranger because this place will take you. Also notice all the middle age clients sitting out front smoking with staff. This wasn't the picture in their add. Yep, these are the folks that get a free ride, think about it, who on disability at age 45-50 that apparently have criminal records and never held a real job and at their age, along with their teeth are all rotted out????makes 3500.00 a month and has money to buy cigarettes and all their other needs they have. This place has a real scam going on. I would like to thank Ashley and the other staff that showed there true colors and let me know what was really going on with this place. Very sad for the elderly to be taken and around such unprofessional behavior. My mother has since moved out. But I still hear from my neighbors friend that works there that it is gotten real bad and that this is the worst place to put your love ones.
