New, clean facility however, one member of staff failed to respond and my Mother had to get back to her bed on her own. Medicare provides the 1st 20 days free after that it cost $145/day. I met with a "panel" and felt like I was being interrogated and was told "We need an answer now if you plan to keep your Mom here or discharge her". I advised the cost was higher than I could handle on my own and was considering taking her home and having a therapist/home health Aide come into my home. "Debbie" said "You can't do what needs to be done for her such as toileting". I said "At least I wont forget her!" and became dead silent. Once I advised I was going to discharge my Mom, she was advised "You have to fend for yourself now" and they would assist her to the bathroom. She had to get outof bed and make it to the bathroom on her own. Eighty six years old with a broken hip. This place is all about the money. Admin staff is rude as hell.
