User Reviews

03/11/2015 An Interested Visitor Writes: Virginia Home for Adults is not an assisted living facility, rather, it is an adult care home. There are no licensed nurses on staff nor is anyone authorized to take physician orders making it next-to-impossible for residents to receive new and/or adjusted medications in a timely manner. They do have medication aides, however, their services are quite limited. The facility does provide three meals and an evening snack daily, laundry services, and housekeeping. Other than pill-passing, there truly is very little about the facility that can be considered therapeutic. Virginia Home for Adults is, in the truest sense, a facility of last resort for those individuals unfortunate enough to be indigent but fortunate enough to possess a Virginia Auxiliary Grant.
