Absolutely awful place. Jay Bains the Admissions Director tells you how well patient will be treated. How anything they want done to make them happy will be done if possible. Apparently everything is impossible to DO to make resident happy. Critical medical care that the lack of could result in death is not given and has to be done by family. Nurse excused this lack of care, stating we are understaffed today. Food given resident was cheap unhealthy food that resident's Dr told her she should not eat. If you love someone don't admit them here. Nurse was rude and yelled at me when I complained that after almost 2 hours, resident had not received medication. Jay Bains forced signing of papers declairing discharge was against medical advice without even cunsulting a doctor. He would not release her without this being signed. She was not told by her doctor that she medically had to go there. She was told she met the requirements to go there but to my knowledge it was never stated she was not medically sound enough to go home. She was just told that she could receive more care there???

People work real hard to make residents as well as family members happy. This is a tough job and if it was so easy we would all have our family members home and no complaining. If you are unhappy with a facility then you have every right to move them, so walk in an employees shoes because we are contantly inservived to walk in a family members shoes.

this place is very uncarring and rude towards the familys of the patients. my loved one could not feed herself and every night i would copme in and her food was ICE cold from where it had sit there, the staff knew very well that my mother could not feed herself and they did not show any effort trying to feed her. on another occasion when i was there, i whitnessed a wonman cut her finger off in the front office door. she was in a merry chair and she could take herself every, no one was watching her, on one more occasion when i was leaving late one night a wheel chair bound man got out of the door and was ready to leave. i asked him where he was going and he said he was going home. i imeaditly took the man backl inside, and no one knew he was even missing. i was VERY displeased with my mothers stay. and also shocked at the very good but wrong reveiws i had heard about the nursing home. the director of nursing told me "you can just take your mother somewhere else" she should not be a director because she is just about worthless. the only one good woman there was the social worker, she was very helpful and the one person there who tryed to make the patients happy.

Response: Wow, so not true. You have no idea what you are speaking on and need to have a reality check. I have witnessed so many good things and you could not be anymore wrong.......
