I started working in Fredicksburg back in October 2012 since then I have been there about 5 times. After my first shift there I was ready to quit I have never in my life seen anything as bad as I did my first day. Unorganized under staff, staff with poor attitudes staff that just don't belong! I wouldn't recommend anyone send anyone there

I should be able to put NO stars because they don't deserve ONE!
This place is horrible. The nursing staff isnt crap and neither are the people who are "running" it.. If you care about your loved ones take them somewhere else. No one answers the phones, nurses have no clue of what is going on with the patients THEY ARE ASSIGNED to... The food is disgusting and they keep everything to aide to patients in sheds OUTSIDE... A dog shouldn't be here let alone the elderly.

I would not give this place 1 star. They said lpns spend 56 minutes per patient. Not true. They spend 56 seconds shoving meds in applesauce in residens mouths. This place is disgusting. They have rats and bugs. They lie to get people there and their whole place stinks and is horrible. I wouldn't put my dead aunt in there.

Just took my mom out after 2 days of being admitted. Mom is 92 yrs old with Alzheimer's Disease. She is a total care with all of her ADL's. She was admitted from the hospital requiring physical therapy post compression fractures of her L/S spine. They thought mom was an Assisted Living resident and expected her to bath, dress, and take care of all of her needs. She even did some light housekeeping. I was mortified; as my mom hasn't made a bed in 10 yrs. In talking with the staff I was informed that if they (the resident) could ambulate they didn't even go into the room. Mom went from taking 5 pain pills a day to NO PAIN MEDICATION for 2 days. This facility is horrid and should not be allowed to admit any new residents. Once burned, twice learned....
