I am constantly treating my mother for bed sores. I am becoming an expert in treating bed sores. I realized mom is bedridden but there should be some treatment to prevent these bed sores.

NOTHING...This is one of the worst Nursing Facility I have ever dealt with. The clinical staff is not professional nor helpful. The administrator, social workers all around staff is terrible. Don't send anyone you love to this nasty facility.

My mom recently spent two weeks at Autumn Care of Norfolk. Even though the facility needs to be updated, we could not have asked for more in the way she was treated. My husband and I were there every single day but one, and everyone, ranging from the nurses to the CNA's, physical therapists, and those working in the cafeteria, were very helpful and pleasant. They greeted us with smiles and treated her, and the other patients, with dignity and respect. They ALL seemed engaged and involved in her day-to-day care, and they all knew whom we were there to see after the second day, which was quite impressive.

My father is a resident here. You have to keep on the staff to get anything done. My father was not getting bathe and I had to go to several people to get this resolved. I went to the director of the facility and findly he is now getting bathe. Unforgently alot of things are overlooked. Weekend staff is there I think just to collect a pay check. I witness several things in the facility that I don't think is right. So if you send your family memeber here just don't leave them. You need to visit them and make sure they are getting the proper care.

I would not send my wounded animal to this facility. They are money hungry! They do not care about the resident!
