I used to be a CNA student and went here weekly the things I witnessed were absolutely heart breaking alot of the nurses and staff dont have a heart. the residents dont get treated how they deserve to be . its a very very disgusting place . I cried several times watching what happens to them. very few nurses care , most of them need to be fired and burned in hell. one time a nurse was cusing at a resident and yelling 'why did you @#$% your self? your so @#$%" . i tried to tell someone of higher managment but they did not seem to care either. If we all come together we can get this place shut down and have the residents relocated in a safer happier place

This is a horrible place. I agree that it should be shut down. It is filthy! This is what our tax money goes to? Think of what the future has in store for us. Most of the staff does not care one bit about the patients or there fellow workers. They act like they are angry to be there. They left my mom in a wheelchair everyday all day long and seldom changed her or her wet bed. They would not even say good morning to her. She thought they all hated her. I was there every minute I could and tried to be patient to see if things got better but they did not. I even went off a couple of times and talked with the Director of Nursing and he was no help either. Something needs to be done with nursing homes because they are a disgrace to the United States. Our seniors are being abused. I have heard they are all alike that's why my mom lives with me. No one is going to mistreat her in any way. I don't know how the ones that live there survive!!!

Sad sad place to leave you "loved ones".The upper management starting with the director all the way down to nursing supervisors is very very lacking in professional skills. They do not like to be questioned and get upset with you when you don't accept their "stupid" amazes me if anyone at the Petersburg facility has higher than a high school diploma because you would not believe the answers you get to general questions.None of them can look at a chart and give you the same answer to the same question. They lie to cover their imcompetancy and we called the facility to ask the director her supervisors name and phone number and she hung up the phone on us 3 times and said she was not giving it to us.Now why would she do that if she wasn't afraid of what he would find out.Well we got his name and if he is any better than the staff at this facility...then they all will be replaced with qualified people but until then this place should be off limits for elderly and sick patients.I really feel so bad for the patients who have no one on the outside to speak up for them.

This place should be closed down. The facility is filthy. The bathrooms and floors in the patients rooms may be cleaned once a month. For two months the toliet in one residents room leaked puddles of water in the floor that would run out from under the door into the room.Upper management states that you can come to them with any problems and concerns but if you have more than ONE they make their self unavilable.A few of the nurses and aids are very good and caring but the majority are lazy, gossiping, and neglect the patients needs. The patients are notcared for properly. One day we witnessed a elderly patient fall in the hallway and she hit her head very hard and it was bleeding and the lady was not responding at all. After about 15 minutes they got her up and took her to her room and put her in the bed.The rescue squad or doctor was ever called in to examine her.I would think that anyone at that age that fell and had a head injury should be examined by a doctor.I really had concerns about leaving my loved one there and could not wait until we able to move them out.I really feel bad about the patients left in this facility.

Do not waste your time or money with this facility. We received very poor service.Nursing staff is very lax and never ever do they check on the patients like they should. One nurse got upset with me because i called twice in one day to ask why they had not called the doctor about my dad and she stated well he is ok I just came out of his room and he is sitting there and breathing!!! That was the final warned do not leave your loved ones here.

My mother had a great experience at this facility. The nurses were attentive and kind. The rehab department was awesome! The rehab worked wonders with my mother and she was able to return to her home. I recommend this faclity to anyone!

Response: Really???? I find this very surprising!!
