Circle Center Adult Day Services is an adult day care facility. It usually includes social services and programs for seniors. Some provide Alzheimer's day care and others may provide adult day health care. This is a daytime program designed to engage seniors with health or other social need during the day. Typically this would be a place where the senior would be able to receive care if they are physically, mentally, or functionally impaired. Adult day care facilities often provide stimulating activities, companionship or simply supervision, if necessary.

Also, Circle Center Adult Day Services is an in-home care provider. In Home care could be either medical ("skilled") or non-medical ("custodial") support services delivered at the home of the senior. "skilled" service providers who usually provide various medical care needs and "custodial" care providers who provide services for daily living such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation but may also extend to assistance with transportation, paying bills, making appointments, and simply being there to provide companionship and emotional support. Home Care services are generally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are sometimes paid for directly by the client or through a variety of public and private funding sources such as Medicare and/or Medicaid. Make sure you know your loved one's Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, and understand how you can use tools like long term care insurance to pay for in home care.

Monday through Saturday, Circle Center Adult Day Services help families stay together and provide cost-effective individualized non-residential fun, health care and social support for older adults.  Their caregivers can go to work and get time for themselves. The older mind and body are kept active with Montessori-based cognitive games for dementia patients to art classes, discussions, music groups and wellness programs. The cognitive and social stimulation that Circle Center provides decreases isolation and depression, can delay admission to or prevent the necessity for assisted living facilities and nursing homes, and help families live together longer. Circle Center goes way beyond traditional “day care”, and offers a full day of activities of everything from medication management and nursing care, exercise and personal care at a fraction of the cost of in-home, assisted living or nursing home care.  We have helping older adults and their caregivers for 35 years.

Each participant has an individual care plan prepared by our full-time RN and social worker, OT, participant's physicians and staff.  We have monthly meetings with the caregivers so we have excellent communication with the families and can modify the care plans according to physical or cognitive changes.
