We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with all the staff at Parham health and Rehab. They have helped not only my Dad but my entire family to cope with his new baseline after his stroke. They have been compassionate and caring and given us the tools we need to take Dad home safely. I highly recommend this care facility! 10 Stars!

I am part of a church group that visits many Richmond nursing home communities. Parham is by far our favorite place to visit! The staff truly care about their residents and guests. Our group always feels welcomed and appreciated, as the entire staff are genuinely dedicated to providing their patients not only superior healthcare but the highest quality of life. I believe this is what sets them so far above the many other nursing facilities we visit in the area. I will always recommend Parham Health and Rehab to anyone needing skilled nursing or long term care for themselves or loved one!

I was recently a patient at this center and I felt they treated me like they cared about my well-being and recovery. Everyone at the center, from the nurses, cnas, janitors, and even management were incredibly helpful and just nice. The therapy staff are wonderful how they help you to get better. 5 stars from me.

These people are the worst! The doctor on staff should not be practicing medacine in a third world nation. Nurses are not qualified! They dont follow outside doctors orders at all! Ive seen and heard patient abuse and neglect first hand! These people are breaking the Law! They should be investigated and shut down immediately! Do not send your Family or loved ones here!!!

Response: Is there anyway we can talk privately? I have a family member in this facility and I'm extremely worried. I would love to know who you saw being abused first hand.

stay away! trust this I wouldnt take a stray dog there. They dont care the onlyh time they are fully staffed is when they know that the state is coming in and they know the dates of their suprise inspections.

Loved one came home with bed soars and was not informed of them and was not notated on discharge papers. Mefication faxed to pharmacy incorrectly. Rooms not cleaned on daily basis. Response time on buzzers is 10/20 minutes.

I was a resident in this facility for 6 months. My experience was less than stellar. Let me begin with the positives... the rehab saff made an effort to help us get back on our feet. Also the kitchen manager was polite and seemed to genuinely care about the residents. The director og nursing was genuinely caring as well. On the flipside. I was never turned (even with specific written doctor's orders) I was dropped from a Hoyer lift on two different occassions. I am aware of residents who waited up to four hours for ice. I personally was left with stool on me for over four hours while requeting to be cleaned up four different times. Overall the CNA's were rude and unprofessional. To top it all off the food was horrible most days. Medical Facilities of America who owns this facility seems to be in the "care" business for the bottom line not to actually help people and it shows! STAY AWAY!!!
