08/14/2010  -  An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes:

My father was there and if you can sit with your loved one during the
"awake" hours then its fine. They left him wet, they were not able to respond in a timely manner and took sometimes over 30 min. for someone to respond. In Fact, the man sharing the room with dad fell trying to get to the bathroom because no one responded. Therapy left him sitting in his chair in his room with no access to the phone or nurse button. (he is paralyzed on his left side and cannot move). Further, the did not try to maintain his dignity during sponge baths or changing and left him completely nude. I wish we would have asked more questions before we let him go there. There has to be better, if a family member has to come in the morning to make sure that their loved one eats and dresses there is a problem. They are, in my opinion understaffed and have a less than stellar attitude toward care and respect for the patient. I hope this review can help someone make an informed decision. We need more patient reviews on all of care centers.
