11/22/2012 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: I called to speak with my grandmother this week and was brusquely told she was 'no longer there' and they had no idea where she had gone. Oddly, the greeting cards I had mailed in the preceeding months had also not been returned to me so I had no idea. There was an amazing lack of compassion from the woman on the phone and it was clear to me she wanted nothing more than to hang up. Her unnaturally optimistic 'have a good day' left me very concerned for my grandmother's whereabouts and safety. Did she not realize how concerned I must have been to hear that was no longer there? I wouldn't send an enemy to live with these people. Their priority is clearly on collecting money with zero regard for the family. Do not send your loved ones to this place.

03/25/2011 An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes: My mom has been at this home for over 3 years. Her condition had deteriorated so much in those years. The staff here is wonderful. Mom left us with a smile knowing she was loved by all the caregivers. The owner had a little celebration for mom's wonderful life at the house and I invited some of my friends and family. It was so nice for all of us to sit together, have tea and cookies and talk about mom. The staff at A New Life went beyond caring for my mom they loved her. I am very fortunate to have found this place and I recommend it to anyone as the best place in Bellingham.

10/11/2010 An OurParents User Writes: My grandmother is currently a resident and after visiting her this past weekend (October 8-9, 2010) I was most pleasantly surprised! The women of A New Life were genuinely good and caring people. The house was emaculetely clean. The meals served were nutricious. Any worries that I had were put to rest upon spending time there. I know without a doubt that my grandmother is safe and being cared for and given the respect she deserves.
