Run fast, run far away. Area ombudsman a source of info. Numerous repeat DSHS violations including currently not allowing new resident move-in until facility solves compliance issues.
Corporate treats staff terribly resulting in massive (above industry rates) turnover, lack of continuity with care and chronic under staffing. We had to move Mom out after several years of increasingly declining performance- big corp out for only $$$$- 7 exec directors in 3 years. They talk a great game, but it's mostly smoke and mirrors

I had to move my Parents out of this facility. Springcreek is a nicely decorated building but many problems are housed within.
First of all, the meals are pretty much substandard. My Father refused to eat at SpringCreek and had to shop for all his food just as he did before entering the retirement home.
The parking situation is terrible. Very often, the staff takes all the spots and there is no place to park. Many times my Dad would end up parking on the curb.

I would NOT recommend Spring Creek Retirement living. Besides being over priced my father lost his balance and tried to catch himself on the safety railing and the railing pulled out from the wall and he fell. My father is a diabetic and Spring Creek mismanaged his meds for an entire year. He tried to tell them he was getting the wrong dose and they told him he was "stuck in the past" and they were giving him the meds the "new way". Fortunately he didn't listened and took his insulin the way he always had. He took over 6,400 extra units that year and they didn't even notice. Come to find out my dad was right but they treated him like he didn't know what he was talking about. Lastly, housekeeping is terrible, I had to move his chair to clean around it and found all sorts of garbage and dust. My dad also said that the food was always luke warm and they do not cater to diabetics and while everyone else gets desserts he is lucky if they have sugar free vanilla ice cream for the diabetics. The whole experience with the exception of the underpaid aids was terrible.

The building and grounds of Spring Creek are lovely. However, the meals served in the common dining rooms are abysmal ~~ often served cold and undercooked. The serving time is unnecessarily long due to either understaffing or lack of efficiency training. Meal times for the elderly should be a pleasant experience, not a dreadful one. My loved one returns from meal times thoroughly upset and depressed ~~ and hungry. The lack of a well-run dining operation makes this otherwise good facility totally unacceptable.

Spring Creek by Bonaventure provides assisted living, independent living and memory care services for seniors. Assisted living is the fastest growing long-term care solution for seniors and is geared toward individuals who want to live with some level of independence but need some assistance. There are many reasons for living in an assisted living community. Research suggests that seniors who live near their peers and have a variety of social activities feel a greater sense of well-being. Assisted living provides senior-friendly homes and a welcoming staff. Other services you'll find include around-the-clock supervision and security, access to professional nurses, emergency call systems, help with daily living, and nutritious meals prepared by chefs. These communities typically provide linen service, housekeeping, transportation, and a calendar of social events. Independent living is designed for seniors who are self-reliant but who want to enjoy a low-maintenance life. Tailored for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as retirement villages, 55+ communities, and senior apartments. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with a range of community amenities, services, and programs tailored just for seniors. You’ll enjoy your own space, so you can bring your favorite belongings, such as furniture and personal items. With independent living, residents won't have to worry about maintenance, mowing, or other chores associated with home ownership. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. You’ll find many social programs and community amenities, such as gardening, bridge, bingo, fitness programs, book clubs, and planned outings. Memory care offers the highest level of support, memory enrichment programs, and increased security for your loved one. Memory care is different from the care provided in assisted living, requiring a staff that is trained in memory care. Residents live in private or semi-private studio homes with twenty-four-hour supervision. Three nutritious meals a day plus snacks are provided, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. Structured activities designed specifically for memory impairment offer intellectual stimulation. Communities typically have secured areas, such as walking paths and gardens, for residents to access. Other important services include behavioral therapies, continence care, medication management, and assistance with bathing and grooming. Settle into Spring Creek by Bonaventure, where you'll experience a comfortable new beginning. There are assisted living, independent living and memory care services available at this location.
