User Reviews

01/27/2014  -  An OurParents User Writes:

Briarwood is a SNF in King County that regularly exploits its residents for billing for things that the residents don't request, in direct violation of federal and state law. Beware.

07/02/2013  -  An OurParents User Writes:

The staff at this place is competent at best. Generally, they don't seem to care about their patients. During the couple of weeks my grandma was there, it was not unusual for them to forget to give her her medication, sometimes for days at a time. (she was very ill at the time and could not remember to take her medication on her own. I would have to come by each day just to ensure she had received her needed medication.
My Grandfather also had to spend a few months in Briarwood. One of his medications had the side effect of causing him to lose his vision. He went from a person who could read the paper with reading glasses to someone who couldn't see well enough to know when a person entered the room over the course of a couple weeks. This was not the fault of Briarwood, however no one at Briarwood even noticed the change, so it took a long time for the doctor to find out so he could adjust the medication. I was just stunned by how little attention and care the staff gave to their patients.
