I am a health care provider myself and felt that the care given to my mother there was far below average. The CNA's overall are pretty helpful and kind but some seem to lack knowledge of the needs of high aquity patients. Although this may be true I appreciated their care and for the most part. The nurses on the other hand are a different story with the exception of a few. Sparing all of the details of every irritating encounter the family has had with them they displayed a lack of care towards my mothers medical needs, do not want to be bothered, and are very unhelpful. We have approached administration and the nursing division about our concerns on a number of occasions but this did no good. The only reason why my mother is getting better is because we are lways there checking up and caring for her. I honestly feel that if we didnt she may have gotten worse than she already is. I honestly would not put my family member in this establishment even if you go see them everyday!! Also the facility looks clean but is not. People lye pillows and linens on the floor, the floors in patients rooms are dirty and unsanitized, and my mothers toilet has not been clean in I do not know how long because it has the same spots and grim build up for the last two weeks. It is quite discusting!

The staff at Mother Joseph's were for the most part extremely arrogant and unhelpful. I saw kindness on the part of CNA's, the nurses were uncommunicative and acted as though you were bothering them if you had questions or concerns. The doctor was almost non existent. I really, REALLY disliked the care given to my mother at this facility!
