Owner claims to provide memory care but has no activities for clients. Prefers the clients are sedated so they can watch TV all day or lay in bed. If you are looking for memory care for your loved one chose a larger facility with more staff and a better buget for activities. Don't be lulled into thinking that foster care is more affordable. It's about the same cost just with less amenities.

My mother was a resident of Agape Adult Family Home, 3907 W. Henry, Pasco, Washington, but now has been is nonverbal and nonambulatory...per Agape's charting mom developed swelling in her leg on March 3, 2013...her family was not notified until March 17th...the family took her to her MD upon notification and the MD ordered a doppler study - mom had a large blood clot in her left leg and is now on blood questioning why Agape did not notify the family when the leg swelling/discoloration was first noticed??? Further comments from staff who have since left Agape state that my mother may not have been getting her medications as ordered and that mom spent long hours in soiled diapers....all care issues have been reported to the State and to the Ombudsman...Mom was paying $5000.00 of her own money every month to Agape and she had a fairly detailed care plan...I am saddened and upset at the care my mom received in this adult family home....

The care here is inconsistent; there is high staff turnover and management can be uncaring and sometimes callous. I moved my parent because of a sense of a lack of emotional support for the clients and safety and attentiveness to their needs. Ir is a clean place, however.
