I've gone to visit on several occasions because I know people there. The staff are always very kind and the residents seem engaged. The memory care has a very special family feeling and the residents are very alive and engaged.

Where to start? Lousy food, lousy service, high staff turnover, don't keep promises, not very clean, high price. If there was any better option in Port Orchard, I'd move tomorrow

Description of Park Vista in Port Orchard, WA

    Built In 2006 , Number of Beds : 66

Settle into Park Vista by Bonaventure and relish a comfortable life, where residents can trade anecdotes and forge new alliances. You'll find a comprehensive assisted living, independent living and memory care services and a hospitable place. Supplying assistance with everyday activities, along with health services, nutritious meals, and a range of other conveniences, assisted living allows seniors to thrive. Why choose assisted living? Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to a happier life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly residences and a warm staff. Communities have additional services that include 24-hour supervision and security, emergency response systems, access to licensed nursing care, chef-prepared meals, and assistance with grooming, dressing, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, social programs, and local transportation are typically provided as well. When you are autonomous but want to be in the company of your peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy amenities and services geared towards seniors. Intended for both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as senior apartments, retirement villages, and communities for 55 and older. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with an abundance of community amenities, services, and programs tailored specifically for seniors. Your personal belongings, such as furniture and favorite mementos, can move to your new home with you. With maintenance, groundskeeping, and housekeeping taken care of, seniors can focus on goals and passions instead of the daily demands of home ownership. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. Community services and amenities usually include fitness clubs, dining facilities, swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, social events, and many others. The staff at Park Vista by Bonaventure has a special place in its collective heart for residents and their families who must deal, day by day, with the effects of Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Alzheimer’s specialists work hand-in-hand with families, loved ones, and the Park Vista by Bonaventure staff to ensure that residents receive the comprehensive treatment they need. Memory care is different from the care provided in assisted living, requiring a dedicated staff that is skilled in techniques unique to memory care. Residents live in private or semi-private residences with twenty-four-hour support. Three healthy meals a day plus snacks are provided, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. Structured activities designed specifically for memory impairment encourage mental stimulation. Grounds typically have secured areas, such as walking paths and gardens, for residents to enjoy. Behavioral therapies, continence care, medication management, and assistance with bathing and grooming are provided as well. Park Vista by Bonaventure helps seniors find the worry-free lifestyle they want. In this community, residents have complete assisted living, independent living and memory care services, as well as a hospitable environment. Within assisted living communities, you'll find help as you need it, with the goal of giving the aid required to stay as autonomous as possible. When seniors are autonomous but want to be in the company of peers, choose indepedent living and enjoy a variety of amenities and services. Memory care gives a higher level of attention, brain games designed for memory enhancement, as well as secure, comfortable living arrangements. Call today and discover how Park Vista by Bonaventure is the perfect fit for seniors requiring assisted living, independent living and memory care services.
