Some things never change. Until the person in charge is removed there will be issues at Falcon Ridge. Your read the review history and its the same issues. She has had multiple write ups over the years. She was levied a huge fine for selling cigarettes. And MMJ to residents for years. Verbal abuse, bullying just poor poor actions on her part. The faculty provides a great service its to bad the person in charge doesn't have a soul.

If you read the earlier reviews, they were part of a slanderous campaign of tow disgruntled employees fired for their alcohol dependency. The true evidence of qualified providers is checking DSHS website to look into whether Falcon Ridge has ever had any enforcement letters for deficiencies. The TRUTH is that FAlcon Ridge has been in total compliance all while providing excellent care to a difficult population of diverse backgrounds. You are cordially invited to see for yourself if Falcon Ridge is the right fit for your friend/family member when they need care. Our experience in caring for the young, elderly, and mentally challenged is what we pride ourselves in and our true reputation with our governing and licensing agencies will defend fraudulent claims by dishonest employees previously terminated for their own discrepancies .

My dad JUST got out of that "hellhole" as he described it. He is now in a much better facility, Park Place Assisted in Seattle. The administrator (Adrian)is basically evil. Every single resident I talked with thinks this place will make you crazy and depressed. I only spoke with half of the entire place but the rest look miserable!!!! The rest of the staff is great. But what can "great" do with crappy management? Nothing. Do check it out. Do talk with some residents. DO NOT EVEN PLACE AN ENEMY THERE!!!!!!

04/27/2011  -  An OurParents User Writes:

The administrator is verbally abusive and lacks professionalism. I could no longer work there as I was afraid I would develop similar habits. No caregivers stay long and the few who have, they are looking for an out. Please don't send your loved one here. I wouldnt.

Response: I agree with these comments about Adrian the administrator. My sibling has been a resident there for 6 years and since Adrian has been there, my sibling has been verbally threatened several times by her. Now there is a drug problem as well. The rest of the staff are friendly. Please don't move your loved one there.

I have spent a year in this facility and while the building is probably not the newest, it is still kept and maintained very well. The staff has always been very good to me and kind and professional and every turn.

Response: The administrator Adrian is the worst EVER!!! and should not be over this facility. This is why...She has made statements of racial content, talks down to the residents and staff, verbally abusive, discusses personal and personnel issues with other staff member, has her under aged kids working in the kitchen without a handlers permit among other things like tending to residents needs, medication is given to the residents late, doubled up or not at all, wage and incident documents altered, the word professionalism does not exist, the residents that don't have anyone to see about them are doomed. This place needs to be investigated...

Description of Falcon Ridge Assisted Living in SEATAC, WA

    Number of Beds : 68

Assisted living is a good solution for seniors who require a little help but desire to preserve their self-reliance. Assisted living is advantageous for seniors. Studies reveal that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to a happier life. Assisted living offers senior-friendly residences and a warm staff. Communities have additional services that include 24-hour supervision and security, emergency response systems, access to licensed nursing care, chef-prepared meals, and assistance with grooming, dressing, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, social programs, and local transportation are typically provided as well. Senator John Glenn once said, “Too many people, when they get old, think they have to live by the calendar.” A rejection of ‘calendar living’ perfectly describes the kind of world the senior living industry creates for millions of Americans over 55. Senior living is a lifestyle of personal choice. Those in senior living communities are never beholden to the calendar. They are free to be as active or inactive as they wish. If they want to relax and watch TV, they are free to do that, too. If they are healthy and independent and wish only to take advantage of fine housing, home-cooked meals, and cleaning services, they are free to do so. If they need assistance with some aspects of daily living, that type of community is available, too. Senior living also includes housing for those who require daily medical care as well as care for seniors who want to stay in their own homes. A well-organized system of care, senior living welcomes you for what YOU want to do.
