Yakima Valley School is a large, for profit, nursing home with 160 beds based in Selah, WA. At last check, the facility had 85 residents indicating that it is 53% occupied which is less than average within the state of Washington. The provider accepts only medicare, and provides family counseling services.
This nursing home is not located in a hospital or a continuing care retirement community (CCRC). As of November 2012, the medicare rating for Yakima Valley School, was 5 stars. Only 19% of nursing homes have 5 stars in Washington. Important to note that this facility has recently improved and has gone from 2 stars to 5 stars.

Yakima Valley Schools is one of the cleanist facilities I have ever worked for. The staff are well above average in caring and providing care for their residents. I have been a R.N. for approximately 8 years and I can not think of working any place else.
