User Reviews

Beware if you start to ask questions. Staff has no accountability and become rude if you ask too many questions or want things clarified. They can always say the resident is old and doesn't know what what really happened... The so called 5 star restaurant has soups with whole bay leaves even after elderly residents were choking on them! It took staff an hour to reach someone banging on the floor calling for help! They let a woman with a broken walker asking for help walk her dog in icy weather- didn't even send someone to make sure she was okay. A meeting for residents with state licensing wasn't posted until the day of the event. A little notice taped under the daily events and found after the meeting time by everyone talked to. After move in it turns out all the wonderful things they offer have a fee attached. Do you want to take a chance with your parents? Get everything in writing because after all- who will know???

Discover the assisted living and independent living services you want and need at Fairwinds - Spokane. Assisted living provides a healthy, secure, and supportive environment for seniors who need daily assistance but who still want to maintain their independence. Why choose an assisted living community? Studies show that living near peers and participating in social activities leads to a higher quality of life. With assisted living, you'll find senior-friendly residences and a warm staff. Communities have additional services that include round-the-clock supervision and security, access to professional nurses, emergency call systems, help with daily living, and nutritious meals prepared by chefs. Housekeeping, laundry, social programs, and local transportation are usually provided, too. When you are self-reliant but want the company of your peers, enjoying amenities and services specifically for seniors, choose independent living. Serving both individuals and couples, these senior communities are also known as senior apartments, retirement villages, and communities for 55 and older. Residents stay in private apartments or individual homes with a variety of community amenities, services, and programs tailored just for seniors. Your personal belongings, such as furniture and favorite mementos, can move to your new home with you. With maintenance, groundskeeping, and housekeeping taken care of, seniors can focus on personal needs instead of the daily demands of home ownership. Because independent living communities are intended for older adults who need little or no assistance, most do not offer medical care or supervision. Community services and amenities usually include fitness clubs, dining facilities, swimming pools, golf courses, hiking trails, social events, and more. Make a home at Fairwinds - Spokane, where you'll experience a comfortable new beginning. There are assisted living and independent living services available at this location. Assisted living offers help on an as-needed basis, with the goal of supplying the support required to stay as self-reliant as possible.
