Assisted living should really be clearly defined.
This place was designed to be a senior retirement community. If you or your parent is at the stage of requiring assistance, this is not the place, unless they have a serious bank account.
The price you see is not what you'll be paying, it doesn't include "assistance". That's all a la carte. The up-charges for every minute a CNA spends dispensing meds, helping with showering and dressing, etc, can easily double the amount. The assisted living "rent" includes the apartment, 3 meals/day, access to the nurse (banker's hours) and all the mostly useless activities.
This place is currently being run by a former Time Warner Cable executive, that says it all. This is a pure profit machine, it you or your parent has unlimited funds, you might find it a good choice.
I would think twice about moving parent(s) here, they can decline rapidly, and you're then left to either move them again, or hire outside nursing care.
