I only gave The Oaks a 4-star rating because a 3-star rating is pretty near perfect and they aren't there (yet!).
If you want a quiet apartment among other self-sufficient, independent adults, then you've found your place! Other "Independent Living" facilities are almost "Assisted Care" type places. At them, if you can feed yourself and, more importantly, pay your bills, then they don't care. At The Oaks I don't think there are any people on walkers or in wheelchairs. If you want someone to go hunting, fishing or just shopping, you can find a friend to with you here.
