Mother was found with a broken wrist, bruises on her face & head, then fell into a coma and died. They denied everything of course, but I know what happened. Avoid.

Worst nursing manager and house doctor I have ever seen. Nurse lies and tries to cover up her poor care of residents. Patients are put at risk because they are seriously understaffed. They drug residents, even though they say they don't.

04/14/2012  -  An Family Member of Current/Past Resident Writes:

The CNA's are helpful, but largely understaffed! The nurses are not available alot of the time, but helpful once you find one. My mom is not kept clean on a daily basis. The food is not appetizing compared to Meadowmere Assisted Living. Directors don't return phone calls. The Social worker is not very suited to this type of work. Mom has had injurys and illness that she didnt have prior to entering this nursing home. They said she was approved for the CBRF, and then revoked that the next day. A nurse said they weighed my mom, but they did not. The care sheet has not been updated since 12/2011. Dont let the lovely grounds fool you. The money they spend on decor, and landscaping could be better spent hiring qualified and accessable staff for these patients. I had a patient tell me that she had not been outside all winter. What a shame!
